Chancel Choir celebrates musicians and vocalists of all ages and experience with weekly rehearsals, bimonthly performances, retreats, clinics, workshops, and concerts. Their sacred music repertoire spans many styles, from ancient Gregorian to contemporary Gospel to original compositions by our Director Matthew Compton.
This special group of musicians focuses on more modern and contemporary musical offerings and features an array of talented musicians. While we maintain a core crew, this is an open group always willing to share the joyful task of praise music with new musicians and setlists. Rehearsing Wednesdays.
Exultation Ringers is an adult handbell comprised of committed musicians of many experience levels. While their main home is Salmon Creek Church, this special choir also travels to festivals, concerts, retreats, clinics, and more. Tap into the thriving handbell world here in the Pacific Northwest through them and find new passion, friends, and music to glorify God.
Our youth and adult blended handbell choir welcomes all ringers ages 10 and older! No ringing experience necessary, but reading ability is needed. We perform holiday music, sacred and secular pieces, and special dedicatory pieces. Rotating rehearsals Sunday afternoons.
Each of our services welcomes youth musicians with any musical acumen. Cellists, violinists, pianists, flutists, and vocalists are just a few of our regularly beloved featured performers. Reach out if you or your group would like to share your musical gifts.
Exultation Ringers perform Matthew Compton's arrangement of Nearer, My God to Thee.
